PILOT STAGE
The National Village Exchange is currently in a Pilot Stage and is not yet open for all VtV Network members. Our goal is to run the program with the 9 Villages listed below to test how it is currently set up and work out any kinks before offering it to the entire membership. More details on the program are available below, stay tuned for updates and the full launch of the National Village Exchange!
About:
Through the National Village Exchange you can meet new friends and experience the benefit of community when you are traveling or visiting other parts of the country. This program will also foster the spirit of community among Villages. An example might be: Traveling to San Diego, call Tierrasanta Village, and you can join their special museum program at their member price.
The NVE is being piloted with 9 Villages, listed below. Only Villages that are signed up can participate. Please stay tuned when we go live for all VtV Member Villages.
What Privileges will a Host Village Offer?
(Privileges may vary by Village, contact each village to find out exactly what is available)
- Village programs, trips, and seminars at member’s prices
- Information on restaurants, hotels, and related requests
- Meeting new friends in other Villages nationwide
What do I do to participate?
- Members are asked to make contact with the Host Village in advance of travel. The Host Village will email your Village to confirm your membership. You can then work out all details with the Host Village directly OR call us for more information and we can help.
NVE applies to short term visits only (less than 2 weeks per year)
