What is this?
This session is for Village staff, board members and volunteers who have some experience in writing grants, but want some practical and proven tips to "up their game" for writing grants for Villages. Topics covered include finding and using local funders, gathering input before writing from a variety of sources, tips for impressing the reviewer about your Village's project, avoiding errors in your application and much more.
Speaker Carol Hegeman is co-author of "Grant Writing for Aging Services and Programs" and a Vice President of a New York state village which has already received three grants (one new and two which have been renewed). She is known as a vibrant and engaging national speaker.
